Together we are Sam and Darren, and we run the Welcome Home Inn — a true family‑run pub in the heart of Par, supported every day by our extended family: our brilliant staff! This pub is more than a business to us; it’s our home, our community, and the place where our family and team come together to welcome everyone through the door.

Our youngest, Emily, leads the bar with confidence, warmth and a work ethic we’re incredibly proud of. She’s become the friendly face many of our regulars look forward to seeing.

In the kitchen, Marcy cooks with care and pride, serving proper home‑style food that feels like family. Although we’re the couple behind the bar, we balance pub life with our own careers too — Sam as a part-time Early Years teacher, and Darren as a full‑time landscaper. As for Elliot he jumps in wherever he’s needed. And then there’s our granddaughter — the youngest member of the team and, if we’re honest, the real boss of the place! She’s the heart of our family and a reminder of why we do what we do.
